In My Life + Winners + Etc

I'm super thrilled that there has been much excitement regarding the In My Life project over at flickr.  When I first thought of the project, I had imagined that it would be an easy peasy project to do.  And yet, it has taken me nearly two weeks to get my own images up!  Egads! Why?  Well, I'd start the day snapping away.  Morning?  Check!  Noon? Check!  Afternoon?  Check! Evening?  Zzzzzzzzzzzz.  The evenings are always a flurry of activity 'round here, and most of the time, I'm crossing the finish line in a state of exhaustion.  But!  I managed to get a series up and uploaded.  Yay! Yay!

Since summer has started, the kids and I have been in summer mode, waking a wee bit later than normal.  Our mornings start out at a more leisurely pace, and as you can see I've got a bit of chores to do here!  While I was making breakfast, the kids managed to take a ride in their "spaceships."

And one final bit of exciting news:  Hope just launched a new line of greeting cards: Paper Vignettes! Go check 'em!  I had the honor of witnessing her creative process unfold as she designed her cards one by one.  I ordered up a bunch, and I have to say that they are the bee's knees!

And I am terribly behind on e-mails and responding to comments left on this here blog!  Please know that I read every bit that is sent to me, but it does take me a bit to get through everything!  So in time, my friends, in time!

Love this whole "In my life" idea. Don't know if mine would be very interesting tho ... lotsa time spent drudging in front of a computer. :P Maybe I'll get inspired tho.

for my son, it's a row boat and he takes two wooden spoons and uses them as oars and attempts to sing "row row row your boat"...

I am doing in my life today - I have my morning and noon shots so far. I also started a set on flickr with a whole bunch of photos of my craft room, office, etc (only the 4 - morning, noon, afternoon and evening will be added to the actual group-... a in my life set. I am having a lot of fun with it!

And thanks for the paper vignettes mention! I have so much fun designing them and love you for all your encouragment and support!!

I just love that picture of the kids, and especially my little Henry...wink, wink*.

I loved doing "in my life", and felt like I cheated in a way, because I have my camera with me anyway when we take off on our little boat for the day! It was great because Jon got into it too!

Now I'm off to rub it in his nose what a Super Hubby Hank is!!

What a beautiful family. Don't you just love the leisurely days of summer? I lvoe the waking up later and just letting things develop through the day. Lucky you- you will still have one at home when the older ones go back to school. They really are all so lovely!
