Gifty!

After seeing so many fun gift exchanges, secret pal exchanges, and especially after participating in Hope's Snail Mail program, I have decided to start a gift exchange of my own called: Gifty! I usually particiate in our Secret Santa gift exchanges at work, and they're always so much fun!!! So I thought I'd organize a gift exchange for all of you cyberfolk! Doesn't that sound like fun?

Wouldn't you like to come home to a package of goodies especially for you? And imagine how fun it would be to send off a package to a new cyberpal! Wouldn't it be fun to be part of an on-line group of friends? It'll be fun! Go on! Sign-up!

Each gift exchange will be called a Round, and the first Gifty Round will take place this month. You can read about the guidelines here. And if you'd like to sign-up (of course you do!), go here.

Here's the nitty gritty about this month's Round:

Theme: Sinfully Delicious
Monetary Allotment: $5.00 (this is a suggestion, not a requirement) + shipping
Sign-Up Deadline: Monday, November 8th, 2004
Shipping Week: November 15th - 20th (this means that you should try your very, very best to get your package shipped off during this time).
Maximum # of participants:12 (I'd like to start small this Round)

Unlike the anonymous exchanges, I thought that it would be fun to enclose a little note or card with your name or online name. That way your recipient can THANK YOU!

You have to count me in - I am emailing now! I LOVE this idea. I do something like this with a few online friends in other countries although the amount and time frame are bigger - and I think this is so great!!! Great idea!!!
