awwww so sweet!!!! and already at 9mos!!! diego didnt start til a couple months ago... and now he calls me "tia ellia" (means aunt ellia) cuz my niece calls me that... and she is the one who calls me mumma... and the picture is just precious! would make a good postcard, for some reason!

Okay, I agree with everyone -- incredibly sweet, especially the picture. One thing, though. They always say that "Da-Da" is supposed to be the first word, something about it's being an easier sound to make. Right. Alison also started with "Mama", and just to make me feel extra special, she even said the cat's name before getting around to learning "Da-Da." It looks like Kate is following in her footsteps...

I have a thing for my girl's feet too and many pictures. Our girl's first word was Nei Nei (the chinese word for milk)! We knew where we stood in the pecking order. It's always wonderful the first time they say it. Congrats! :)

Hi, it's been a while. (formerly tlw) I cannot believe that Kate is nine months, Elliot is nearly 11. She is crawiling and climbing all over the place, starting to walk as well. She says Mama and Dada and kitty and puppy - nummy and hi and uh-oh and baby too! She has 6 teeth already and wants to do everything by herself. She doesn't want to be my baby like I want her to be my baby, she just wants to be big like her sister. What is a gal to do?!
I'm in love with Kate's chubby little toes, couldn't you just nibble on them?! What a great photo/collage.

I love that graphic! Do you use a certain script in photoshop to get those effects? I've trying to find out how to come up with those types of graphics.
