This was the first image that popped into my head when I read the word "cling" over at Penelope's. Little kids are always in search of their mama's love and attention even if it means clinging for dear life!
I remember hanging onto my own mother's legs or purse as a child, and I would bury my face into her thigh. Now I find history repeating itself as my own kids like to cling like little monkies on my legs. (And, um, no that's not my arse in the illo! Hee hee) While this clinging is bothersome at times, there's nothing like the feeling of being the source of comfort and protection for your own babes!!!

Wow did not think they would be so close togehter. Maybe should be spread out more? It is a good idea to get destresser gifts. I am pretty clear now what Gifty 2's theme is this time. Although my gifty 1 pal liked her gifts I feel bad I messed up. Please sign me up and I hope you have a very happy thanksgiving!!

Not to worry about missing the theme -- no problem at all! There were a couple of people who missed the theme (I should have posted it on the button!) ;)
And I'm still deciding on the dates for Gifty...I'm thinking that I may wait until after the holidays? An after the holidays de-stresser! :)

What a lovely illustration! I experienced a rather intense version of it this afternoon when I put nice clean Harry down on the floor and tried to put his dirty nappy (diaper) in the rubbish bin. The boy was like a limpet!
